Requesting a CRN Number to Repeat a BIS2 Course (2026-27 Academic Year)
If you need to repeat BIS2A, BIS2B, BIS2C, or BIS2D, special repeater sections are available. You are eligible to enroll in one of these sections only if you previously received a grade of D+ or below, or a grade of Not Passed, in the course. Note that if you take the equivalent BIO course without enrolling in the special repeater section, your failing BIS grade will not be replaced on your transcript.
To request a CRN number, you will need to complete the Repeat a BIS2 Series Course form.

After you respond to this survey, you will be contacted by a member of the BIO123 Staff if space is still available. You will need to respond promptly to these requests in order to maximize your chances of securing a spot in the course.
Updates for Fall Quarter 2026
There is still space available in BIS 2A and 2C repeater sections for Fall quarter; fill out the survey above promptly to ensure the best chance of getting one of the remaining seats. BIS 2B repeater section is full for fall. BIS 2A, 2B and 2C are taking requests for winter quarter, but you will not receive a response on these until winter quarter registration starts.
