Research Interests

As an evolutionary biologist, my research focuses on theoretical population and quantitative genetics, examining the genetic basis of evolutionary processes like speciation. I study the population and evolutionary biology of Wolbachia and its interactions with hosts, particularly Drosophila and disease-vector mosquitoes. By integrating mathematical models with empirical data, I aim to understand how genetic variation and evolutionary forces shape populations over time. My work contributes to broader insights in evolutionary theory and applied conservation genetics.
