Research Interests

The research in my lab is focused on investigating the neural mechanisms that underlie cognitive control functions. By exploring how the brain manages and regulates thought processes, attention, learning, and actions, we aim to uncover the fundamental principles that govern these essential cognitive functions. Furthermore, we are dedicated to developing novel and innovative approaches to study and enhance cognitive control. These approaches include using advanced large-scale neurophysiology techniques, computational modeling, and behavioral experiments to gain deeper insights into brain function. Ultimately, our objective is to improve our understanding of cognitive control mechanisms and develop strategies to enhance these functions, potentially benefiting individuals with cognitive impairments and improving overall mental health.
