Research Interests

My research focuses on the biomechanics and ecology of marine organisms, particularly how
physical forces in the ocean environment influence the biology and distribution of marine
species. I examine the interactions between hydrodynamics and the structure, function, and
ecological roles of marine organisms, including how water flow affects the feeding, growth, and survival of these species. By integrating principles of physics and biology, I aim to understand the responses of marine communities to environmental changes and how these changes impact ecosystem function and resilience.
