Paul Hawley

Paul Hawley oversees information technology for the College of Biological Sciences, where he leads IT operations, cybersecurity, systems administration and application development while coordinating technology services and initiatives across the college. He has more than 25 years of experience at UC Davis, including previous roles with Information and Educational Technology and the School of Medicine, and has spent the past 15 years with the college. His team works closely with departmental and campus IT partners on infrastructure, enterprise services, software licensing, security and compliance, and technology planning. They also lead college-wide efforts to modernize technology, strengthen cybersecurity and ensure that IT services effectively support the college’s teaching, research and administrative missions.
