A. Plant reproduction: Genetics and genomics of plant reproduction using Arabidopsis and rice as models.  Genome editing to enable asexual reproduction in crop plants.  

B. Root Microbiomes:  Assembly, structure and function. Host-microbiome interactions in rice roots
